11 tamiya tam74123.
I also like the precision tip on these.
The blades are made from quality chrome vanadic alloy and are hand finished for optimum sharpness.
I would not recommend using it for anything else just because it could potentially ruin the sharp edge.
And they are razor sharp.
The sharp jaw blades offer an excellent cutting edge and they have a slightly slimmer jaw than previous tamiya plastic cutter products enabling easier removal of smaller parts which have less clearance.
There is little to no sanding of nubs required after the cut due to the sharpness and the nice flat side.
I recommend them over the xuron 2175 shears for fine work as i use the xuron shears first to remove the part from the spur and then use the tamiya cutters to remove the gate from the part leaving very little to be sanded.
I recently picked up a pair of the tamiya 74035 sharp pointed side cutters.
4 5 115mm out of stock.
These are directly comparable to the cut on the mr hobby.

The weight feels really nice in your hand and the clipping motion has a really nice feel to it.
My first pair were the tamiya sharp pointed side cutter 74035 and there is very little difference between the two cutters with the exception of these having slightly longer cutting blades.
The edges are nice and sharp and actually cut the plastic instead of snapping plastic.
Reviewed in the united states on january 9 2018 i upgraded to this tamiya nipper from a pair of xurons i ve been using since the fall of the roman empire and this tool is a huge improvement in my opinion.
