The aim was to enable quick turn around from sporting to non sporting events and back again i e allowing stadiums to be truly multi functional whilst maintaining the quality of their playing surface. Originally developed in 1991 in consultation with wembley stadium one of the world s busiest concert venues terraplas is used internationally by stadiums and arenas wishing to make their venue truly multi purpose by protecting their grass for events such as concerts exhibitions dinners graduations and religious ceremonies. Over 27 years ago in a market where stadiums increasingly need to utilise their facilities to generate additional revenue from non sporting events terraplas developed the potential for a turf protection system as opposed to a turf cover. Dependent on weather conditions the system can be left down for up to seven days without damaging the underlying turf and soil.
